The heart
behind Inhalō
Hi, I'm Chantelle Bradshaw, founder of Inhalō, based in the East Midlands. I created Inhalō because I know what it feels like to live in survival mode and I also know what it feels like to find a way out. I'm a proud mum to two beautiful boys, and everything I do is driven by the life I wanted to create for them and for myself.

Like many of us, I have experienced trauma and difficult experiences throughout my life. For a long time, I didn’t truly feel safe within myself. I lived in a state of constant alertness, carrying emotional exhaustion and searching for ways to numb the pain or fill the emptiness, through alcohol, substances, unhealthy relationships and other coping mechanisms that ultimately kept me stuck.
When I began my sobriety journey in 2021, I realised that simply removing alcohol wasn't enough. I had to learn how to regulate my body, process emotions and feel safe within myself.
My first introduction to breathwork came through Wim Hof and Biet Simkin at a wellbeing festival. The experience was profound. I couldn't fully explain it, but for the first time I felt a shift within myself. Over the following years, I dipped in and out of breathwork while continuing to navigate early recovery.
After the birth of my second son, I became determined not to experience the same postnatal depression I had following my first pregnancy during the COVID pandemic. Although my second postpartum journey was different, adding another little one into our family brought a whole new level of beautiful chaos.
For four or five days, I found myself in a very dark place. I felt like I wanted to escape. Those thoughts frightened me. Then, almost instinctively, I stepped into a freezing cold shower. That single decision changed everything.
Since that day, cold water exposure and breathwork have become daily practices. Whether it's powerful, activating breathwork or slower, meditative breathing techniques, these practices have helped me regulate my nervous system, reconnect with myself and return to the present moment whenever life feels overwhelming.
I'm not saying life is perfect. I still have difficult days, but today I have tools that allow me to move through them rather than be consumed by them.
As my own transformation continued, I attended more retreats, workshops and breathwork experiences. Every one reinforced the same feeling: this is something I want to share with others.
I started exploring the subject through books, teachings and different practices, including James Nestor’s Breath, Dan Brulé’s Just Breathe and the Wim Hof Method. What I discovered was a real eye-opener. I became fascinated by how something we do every moment of every day could have such a profound effect on the body, mind, emotions and the way we experience ourselves.

Every technique has its place, and every person's journey is unique. My role is to meet people where they are and guide them safely using the most appropriate practices for their needs.
That is why I created Inhalo.
Inhalo isn't just about breathwork or cold water exposure. It's about creating a safe, supportive space where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and discover that healing is possible.
Whether you're navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, recovery, trauma, or simply looking to feel more present, my hope is that Inhalo gives you the opportunity to experience what these practices have given me.
Because sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do...
...is take one breath, and begin again.

To deepen my understanding, I went on to study with InnerCamp, where I trained in the Holosomatic® Breathwork Method a trauma-informed approach that resonated deeply with me because of my own lived experiences.
Creating safe spaces where people feel supported, seen and empowered is at the heart of everything I do.
My training has equipped me with a broad range of breathing modalities, allowing me to tailor each session to the individual or group. These include:
-
Holosomatic® Breathwork
-
Holotropic (psychedelic-inspired) Breathwork
-
Trauma Release & Emotional Regulation Breathwork
-
Meditative Breathwork
-
Shamanic Breathwork
-
Tantric Breathwork
-
Energetic Breathwork
-
Diaphragmatic Breathing
-
